Epson Stylus C62 InkJet Printer Logo

Refuses to print with red light constantly flashing.

I'm getting the message that some parts within the printer are now out of service. I would like to either get this one fixed or even buy a new one - Epson C62. I live nr Hamilton, New Zealand.

Not solved yet however I'm looking at buying another one second hand or finding a printer repair shop. This is definitely a manufacturers bug aimed at selling more machines. If I can locate the driver I'll reload that and see what happens. Cheers. WP.

This may be the PHD (drum unit) that has reached its pagecount limit.

If it is, replacement will be the only option, and it may be more ecnomical to replace the printer

Dell 2130 is similar, but within a very different looking case. The 1000 page cartridges are common between these two printers.

I have a ML-2510, I turned it on and both the red light and green light flash constantly. Will not feed or print.

This answer may be a bit late but if this flashing of the red and green light is accompanied by a sound of a motor starting and stopping over and over, it is NOT toner, but a defective capacitor in the power supply. Here is a photo of the part that is creating the problem. I am not responsible for any harm done to yourself so please make sure you know what you are doing.
