My daughters Nintendo DS lite got thrown in the pool by her 2 year old bro. It was down there for 30 seconds before we could get it out, is it toast?

it may still be able to work. put it in a bowl of rice. that will **** out all the moisture from in the game. try starting it up after about a day or 2

The DS wont charge because my daughter stuck a penney in the DS

Try and unscrew all the covers for the DS and locate the penny. Just try not to stretch wires or anything.

We think a neighbor girl spilled liquid on/in my son's DS Lite. It now won't power on and the orange light will stay on for only a minute or two when we attempt to charge the unit. The battery is good......

If the DS was turned on when the liquid was spilled on it I don't think there is much hope to be honest:(

If it's under warrenty send it back otherwise you might try taking it apart and use a hair dryer to dry it off... that's a long shot though!

Nintendo DS will NOT charge

My guess is that the problem resides in the charger. You can buy a dual use charger for the DS and DS Lite at GameStop for relatively cheap.

NINTENDO DS LITE POWERS ON AND THEN IMMEDIATELY OFF

The system powers on, then performs a system check. The DS is finding some sort of error More than likely the top screen was damaged. I've been told that the screen that flickers is usually the good screen. The bad one doesn't flicker because it's damaged. You can replace the top screen yorself (if you're fairly handy), or you can pay a professional to do it. You can get new screens from Dealextreme.com for around 10US dollars, with free shipping. You can also find videos about how to change out the top screen on youtube. Hope this helps

Power problems with DS Lite

Really sounds like a dead battery. The DS will not work if the battery is bad even when it's plugged in. You get the quick flash of the power light and that's it.
