If you have loaded Destinator Console onto your PC from the original disc that contains the maps simply attach the SatNav to your PC and take the following steps
1. From "My Computer" identify the SatNav device from those listed in "Items with Removable Storage".
note. if your PC doesn't recognise the device try putting the memory card into a camera that you can connect to your PC.
2. Right hand click the relevant icon, and select "Format" from the drop down menu.
3. From Start Manu, All Programs - select Navigation (this will depend upon how you origianlly loaded Navigation) then select Destinator Console.
4. In the bottom right hand corner of the subsequent window there should be a box named "Target Device" - click "Change"
5. From the pop-up window select the device you have just connected. This device should now appear as the target device and it will show how much available space is on the disk.
6. Finally from the top left hand box named "Standard Maps" select - UK_Ireland-177.0 MB and click on Install/Remove Maps.

I keep getting a message on my tomtom one saying no map found. i`ve formatted the sd card many times but cant get map up. can you help please?

If your device is saying no maps found, what you need to do is to download new maps on the SD or on your device. That way your device should be able to read maps, or better still, you can reset your tom tom by using a paper clip, to press and hold the reset button.

Or you can hold the power button for about 15 seconds, that way the unit will restart, once it restarts, then you will be able to access your maps and other things on your device.

Hope this information helped you solve your problem.

Screen says there are no detailed maps found that support routing

If your gps receiver says there are no detailed maps found that supports routing, do not panic, it is a minor problem that can be solved by either reseting the gps receiver. If reseting the gps does not solve the problem, then it means you will have to back up your maps, format the gps receiver and restore your maps back on the gps receiver.
Hope this information helped you.

Garmin nuvi 200 says no maps found after trying to update my maps with the free download for it

Press Tools, press Settings, press Maps and press Map Info. The map name should be displayed with a tick beside it to show it's selected. If there's no tick press the map name and the tick shoule appear. This should solve the problem if the map is installed correctly.

My garming says no detailed maps found that support routing what can i do to fixed

Press Tools, then press Settings, then press Map, then press Map Info. There should be a tick beside the map name. If not press the map name and a tick will appear. The problem should then be solved.

If that doesn't solve the problem it may be because the map is locked. If so go to www.garmin.com and if the satnav is registered click on My Garmin, then on Maps where you'll find the unlock code. If the satnav is not registered you'll need to connect it to the computer and register it first.

NO MAP FOUND

Sounds like you are trying to use cracked maps and haven't finished the process. Google tomtom forums there are a lot out there and you should be able to cure your problem.
