Ws-55515 When I press the device button on my remote the snow becomes delayed then shuts off. Tried to go into tv menu options to see if i could hand enter devices but when i go to the A/V icon it freezes then shuts off. Thanks Dan

A suggestion: try with the original Mitsubishi remote to do the soft restore: Menu, 1,2,3, enter.

Sounds like the blinking green light of death issue. This is common on this model. You can get more info and a repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com

check your tv power supplay, it may fix the problem

Find the button said inputs in ur remote control,press that button,will see inputs like 1,2,3.Ur Xbox 360 video/audio should be in one of those inputs.

Your problem may be solved by re-initializing the set. With the tv on use the remote and push MENU,2,1,7,0. A display will come up. Use the up down arrows on the remote to select INITIAL and press the enter key on the remote. That should do it.

Try this :

Follow the steps below for the initial set-up:
1. Select the "MENU" display by pressing the "MENU" button once.
2. Press the number buttons "2", "2", "7", "0" in sequence to select the "OPTION MENU" display.
3. Press the "ADJUST" button to select "INITIAL."
4. Press "ENTER."

I had a similar problem: my WS-55511 would not respond to the remote and the front control buttons (with the exception of Power) cycled through the Device Menu. I solved this problem by disconnecting the front panel. Here's how to do it: 0. Unplug the TV
1. Remove the speaker grill from the front by pulling forward: there are no screws. 2. Disconnect the two cables that are exposed after the grill is removed. 3. Plug the TV back in, wait for 5 minutes to reset. 4. Try using the remote.  Hope this helps! 

if the set is shutting down it should blink a code. Try pushing in the menu and input buttons on the set both at the same time and hold them in for 8 seconds to see if the self diagnosis will falsh a two digit code. Let me know what happens

Sounds like the remote is not programed correctly or the input sources have been changed.

Call the cable company and complain that it worked before they came and shoud work afterwards.
