GE 32GT740 no 2-6 channels on cable

I have a GE 32GT740, the turner will not get 2-6, but will get 7 and up on cable.
I have change the turner, but same problem. can you help me.

I have the EXACT same problem. I went out of town, came back, and my tv no longer gets channels 2-6 no matter how many times I run the channel program or try to add the channels. AND, because it wont get the channels I can't even use my VCR! I called the cable company thinking that was the problem but they proved it is my tv. HELP!

Umm well have you tryed to go in to the menu and add those channels back?

it has a digital tuner that also does analog channels. You dont need to active it. I fyou are trying to get the channels over an antena, go into the menu and do a auto scan for channels. Set the auto scan as "cable". If you are trying to get cable channels over 19 it wont work without a box. The digital channels are scrambled for cable.

I purchased a MDR513h/f7 hdd & dvd Player/recorder for my cable TV. I can not watch one channel while recording another. Comast said I must have a dual turner and that is what I purchased (I think)....

This model has only one tuner, I'm afraid. You can only watch one channel at a time, unless you split the cable signal going into it. One side goes to the recorder, the other to the TV. Then you use the single tuner in the recorder to record and the TV's tuner to watch the other channel.

Tested and verified solution:

Set Tuner Mode to "antenna".
Run a channel scan. Should get zero channels found.
Set Tuner Mode to "cable".
Run another channel scan.
Celebrate!

I have an olevia 532 b12 model and no tv channels in list

I have an olevia 532 b12 model. I do have cable at my house, straight to tv , no cable box.. but my tv only says a message ''no channels in list'' on the Turner source option. I Just bought this TV with no manual, What do I do in order to see the channels , to me it seems like the remote is locked. I cant change the time date , nothing ? The DVD playes plays and sounds great,,, Its just the cable TV part

Dual toner card

You will have to install each tv turner software not different folder in the program files folder.

During the installation of the drivers and software you will be prompted with the directory where the software will be installed, on this page you should select say for eg:

for the first tv turner card C:\program files\ hp tv turner
for the second tv turner card say c:\program files \hp tv turner 2

this should be done for every directory mentioned during the installation.
other wise both the card will try to use the same driver and software files, there will be a clash, thus one one tv turner card will be viewed.
