I had the same problem after transit of copier. Try removing the yellow developer unit and give it a good shake. You may need to do it with the other units too.

fusing oil cannot be bought over the internet. please contact your local ricoh agent for it. fusing oil unit is very important, once it finishes the machine will stop working.

just take a air blower and flow the area from where the paper comes out ur internal paper tray sensor is dirty

These machines use oil supply units located on top of the fuser unit. They are not refillable order another and replace... continueing to run this machine without fuser oil will cause the fuser to fail and copies to look terrible

SC542 means that the thermistor hasn't detected right temperature in given time.

Often you only have to reset service code.




Try this reset:

• Press and hold online + escape, then power on.
• Use up and down arrow keys to select SP2
• Press Enter
• Use up and down arror to locate SP5
• Press Enter
• Use up and down arrow keys to select 810
• Press Enter
• Confirm the selection
• Power off and on.

Looks like you need to replace your fuser oil unit (the oil is used to lightly coat the fuser to prevent paper sticking). This is just a simple part swap out, not much harder than loading the printer with paper, full instructions are in the manual (see link) and a the units themself are readily available, if you dont know your local supplier google will return dozens of online merchants
