How do I attach camera strap to my SL30? Also,

The wrist strap has a thin loop on one end. Thread this thin section (like threading a needle) through the strap hole. (It's on the left side of the camera. There are two openings with a bar over the top of the center of them at the bottom corner of the camera body.) Start threading from the middle of the body of the camera and push the strap towards the bottom of the unit. You may need to twist the loop to narrow it and keep it tight. Once you have this narrow loop through the camera, open up the loop and slide the thick material through the center of this thin loop. Pull the wrist strap until the thin loop tightens around the bar.

(Many lanyard straps for electronic gear work the same way. Threading the narrow section under that bar does require decent near point vision. People who are far-sighted may need to wear bifocals or ask someone younger to assist.)

Not sure whT you are trying to do but you can try ca glue from a hobbie shop but may get cloudy when it dryes not sure if you are trying to see thru that spot ya glue or not

You usually take a photo with your camers and then connect the USB cable from your camera to the computer to download the photo.

The battery requires recharging else a new battery is required to replace a depleted once. Perform a power recharge of the device for several hours to attain full capacity. The camera lense should responde there after.

Slide the lock switch on the SD card away from the lock position. It is a small plastic switch, usually yellow or white, on the side of the card.

Having gone over four months without a response, I assume my suggestion to use a card reader solved the situation.

The best thing to do after downloading all your pictures to your computer is to format the card in the camera. This prevents the card from getting fragmented, which is a sure recipe for disaster.
