Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:

  1. Check the paper: Make sure you're using the correct type of paper for your calculator. The FR-2650A requires 2 1/4 inch (57mm) wide plain paper rolls. If the paper is too thick or too thin, it can cause jams.
  2. Remove any jammed paper: Turn off the calculator and remove the paper roll. Gently remove any jammed paper from the paper feeding mechanism. Make sure to remove any torn pieces of paper or debris.
  3. Clean the paper feed mechanism: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the paper feed mechanism. Dust and debris can accumulate in the mechanism, causing paper jams.
  4. Check the paper feed roller: Use a cotton swab or soft, damp cloth to clean the paper feed roller. Make sure it's free of debris or dust.
  5. Replace the paper roll: Make sure the paper roll is properly installed. The paper should unroll from the bottom of the roll towards the front of the calculator. The paper should be flush against the paper feed roller.
  6. Test the calculator: Turn on the calculator and test it by printing a few lines. If the paper still jams, try a new paper roll.
If none of these steps work, there may be a mechanical issue with the calculator. In this case, it's best to contact the manufacturer or a professional repair service for assistance.

How do I load paper?

I have a casion hr-100tm calculator and found the easy way to load a new roll of paper. Take a 3x5 index card and cut it on 45 degree angle, then with angle on the right of the machine feet it into the machine pushing it as you go. Once it begins to feed so you can pull on it, then take other end of card, scotch tape to new roll of adding machine tape. As you feed the card through the roll of paper foillows. Once it has fed into machine cut off 3 x5 card. Easy.
The problem is that all rolls of machine paper are not equal and the thinner paper doesn't want to feed. This way it works for any type. Hope it hellps.

Operation instructions

Manual Center has the manual available here: http://www.manualscenter.com/manuals/casio/fr2650a-owner-manual.html#.VP9lNuOFr3g . You may be able to read the manual without paying for a downloaded copy. (The manual page images are on-screen but the font is small.)

I hope this helps.

Casio FR-2650A Not Pulling Paper Through

See if the roller gear is jammed or rusted. A little wipe with WD40 may help.

How to install adding machine tape to a radioshack EC-3033

Here is the link to the instruction book for that calculator. It describes how to install the paper into the machine. The only thing I could recommend different is to fold the lead edge of the paper to a 45 degree angle /| instead of the straight edge the book is recommending. Sometimes there is a small blockage in the feed path and the angled fold will get the lead edge passed it enough for the feed rollers to catch the paper. The blockage usually feeds out with when the edge of the paper clears the rollers. I would try it by the book first then try the folded edge. The only other option would be a middle fold /\ in case the blockage is on the edge you folded from in the first attempt

Paper not feeding

This could be caused by rubber that has become clogged with paper fibers or has gotten hard.
If you open the machine and look for the drive mechanism you will likely recognize the part responsible for advancing the paper.
Alcohol can complicate things sometimes as it can dry out the surface that you want to have slightly tacky. I would try lighter fluid (naptha) and a lint-free cloth or paper towel to scrub the surface of the roller to remove built-up fibers and it may also remove some dead rubber that will show up as a black deposit on the cloth.
Parts for these trusty companions has become increasingly scarce since they are passing out of use with time and the advent of disposable printers. Most of those folks using these machines are reluctant to replace them but that may be your only recourse.

Casio FR-2650A

the tape goes into a small slot on the backside of the machine, not in the clear plastic cover. Install the roll so the paper rolls off the bottom, not over the top. Folding the paper back about 2" does help you get it through.

Load paper

You must feed it through the back of the machine while depressing the feed key. make sure it is the right size paper and hopefully there is not a jam in the machine. If so you can try sliding a business card through the slot where the paper goes and force any jammed paper out of the path.
