Re: MY FR-2650A always PaperJam...Cannot feed the paper
Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:
- Check the paper: Make sure you're using the correct type of paper for your calculator. The FR-2650A requires 2 1/4 inch (57mm) wide plain paper rolls. If the paper is too thick or too thin, it can cause jams.
- Remove any jammed paper: Turn off the calculator and remove the paper roll. Gently remove any jammed paper from the paper feeding mechanism. Make sure to remove any torn pieces of paper or debris.
- Clean the paper feed mechanism: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the paper feed mechanism. Dust and debris can accumulate in the mechanism, causing paper jams.
- Check the paper feed roller: Use a cotton swab or soft, damp cloth to clean the paper feed roller. Make sure it's free of debris or dust.
- Replace the paper roll: Make sure the paper roll is properly installed. The paper should unroll from the bottom of the roll towards the front of the calculator. The paper should be flush against the paper feed roller.
- Test the calculator: Turn on the calculator and test it by printing a few lines. If the paper still jams, try a new paper roll.
If none of these steps work, there may be a mechanical issue with the calculator. In this case, it's best to contact the manufacturer or a professional repair service for assistance.
