I need to replace my door lock switch but unfortunately none of my electricians know about the wiring on the switch. There are 4 wires black, white, brown and blue. Can someone please assist with a diagram or perhaps a picture of how should I connect the wire. Thanking you in advance.
Typically, a door lock switch has two wires that connect to the switch itself and two wires that connect to the locking mechanism. The two wires that connect to the switch are usually a live wire (black) and a neutral wire (white), while the two wires that connect to the locking mechanism can vary in color depending on the manufacturer.
In your case, the brown and blue wires may be the ones that connect to the locking mechanism, while the black and white wires connect to the switch. However, without more specific information or a wiring diagram, it's difficult to say for sure.
I would highly recommend contacting Samsung customer support or a certified Samsung repair technician for assistance with the wiring of the door lock switch. They should be able to provide you with the necessary information and ensure that the replacement is done correctly and safely.
Question edited for clarity.
There are some here and they are likely to keep the same through various models. The usual answer is the same wiring as the one that came out. You can also ask Samsung direct. This is not a mainstream model in North America where we are based.
