yes, the problem is the battery of your watch. it is brand new but many of brand new watch sat on their selling showcases for a long time that when the time you were about to purchase it,it has low battery charged. you have to bring it back from where you bought it, and they have to change the battery. i hpoe i helped you.

When changing time zones, your watch must be manually set for the new time zone you will be entering. This watch is not designed to adjust for new time zones automatically. Instructions for changing time zones can be changed using the directions found on pages 2-4 in your instruction manual. When changing to and from DST, your watch should automatically adjust for this difference with the next 24 hours after the change. If your watch has not adjusted, you may be in an area that is not receiving signal. Check if your watch has received signal by using the directions found on page 1 of your instruction manual. Dear Sir,

It appears that the watch was malfunctioning which I thought was due to a change of battery being required.
(It was running slow and giving the wrong time - so my mother told me)

I subsequently found instructions for the watch on an internet site, changed the battery and the watch is still failing to set to the U.K. time zone therefore, I deduce that it is a failure in the watch rather than the need for a new battery or ranything I have or have not done.

Im a watch technician,and when im make adjustment to a new watch for me i dont need any manual,the thing ive done is keep pushing and pressing the button and observed what happen and the result i write what im discover new to me.When setting a baby g watch find the set and press it for 10 seconds.then your watch will flashing then go to mode button and choose what you are going to set.The hour ,the date ,the alarm whatever is there to set desame you going to do , only the set button need along press.Message me whatever you discover .

do you have the button on your watch named "el" its the top left one, press and hold it for 3 secs. after you can change the time. you can press the mode button to change it :)
