My replay xd1080 camera battery will not charge.

The green charging status LED does not luminate when plugged into the charger. Can the battery be replaced? If so, is this a do it yourself project or do I need to contact replay customer support?

If your Replay XD1080 camera battery is not charging and the charging status LED is not illuminating, there may be an issue with the battery or the charger. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:

1. Check the charging cable: Make sure the charging cable is properly connected to the camera and the charger, and that it is not damaged. Try using a different cable to see if that resolves the issue.

2. Check the charger: Make sure the charger is properly plugged into a power outlet and that it is functioning correctly. You can try using a different charger or testing the charger with a different device to see if it is working properly.

3. Check the battery: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that the battery may be faulty or damaged. In this case, you may need to replace the battery.

To replace the battery, you can contact Replay customer support for further assistance. They can provide you with information on how to purchase a replacement battery and whether it is a do-it-yourself project or if you need to send the camera to them for repair. It is important to use a battery that is compatible with your camera model to ensure proper function and safety.

It's essential to be cautious when attempting any repairs on your camera to avoid further damage or injury. If you are not confident in your ability to troubleshoot or repair the issue, it's recommended to seek assistance from a qualified technician or contact Replay customer support for further assistance.

Replacing the battery can be a DIY project, but it may require some technical skills and tools. If you are comfortable with opening up the camera and handling electrical components, you can try replacing the battery yourself. However, if you are not confident in your ability to do so, it is recommended that you contact Replay customer support for assistance.
When contacting customer support, be sure to provide them with as much information as possible about the issue you are experiencing, including the fact that the green charging status LED is not illuminating. They may be able to provide you with troubleshooting steps or determine if the battery needs to be replaced.

The battery of my nikon coolpix 4300 is not working it is a new battery, but whenever i put it to charge it charges but the camera does not turn on (sorry if the question is confusing)

It sounds like there may be a problem with your Nikon Coolpix 4300 camera that is preventing it from turning on, even when you have a charged battery installed. Here are a few things you could try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the battery contacts: Make sure the battery contacts on both the battery and inside the camera are clean and free of debris. If there is any dirt or corrosion on the contacts, use a clean, dry cloth to gently clean them.
  2. Try a different power source: If you're charging the battery using a wall outlet, try using a different outlet or a different charger. If you're charging the battery using a USB cable, try using a different cable or a different USB port.
  3. Reset the camera: Sometimes, resetting the camera to its default settings can help resolve software-related issues. Check your camera's user manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
  4. Contact Nikon customer support: If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be a problem with the camera itself. Contact Nikon customer support or take the camera to a professional repair service for further assistance.
I hope this helps!

My battery will not charge

First, you did not say how old the battery is. Rechargeable batteries do not last forever and if left on the shelf for prolonged periods can discharge to the point that the suffer permanent damage and will not take or hold a charge. Most rechargeables last for about three years give or take. It could be that your battery simply needs replacement. You identified your camera as a Coolpix 3200, I presume you mean an S3200.

Start by removing the battery from your camera and making sure that the battery contacts in the camera and on the battery is clean. Dirt and grease can prevent the charging current from flowing to your batteries. If they are dirty. A new pencil eraser can be rubbed against the contacts both in the camera and on the batteries to remove any oils or residue. Next, I would try to charge the battery again.

If that does not work, replace the battery. Your camera takes a model EN-EL19. Since new batteries normally have a partial charge on them, I would first see if the camera will power up and take a picture. If so, the next step is to see If the new battery will charge in your camera. If it does, you have solved your problem. If not, the camera's charging circuit may be at fault. If that is the case, you have two choices. You can send the camera Nikon USA for repair or, if the camera otherwise functions correctly, you can save the cost of repair by purchasing a model MH-66 external battery charger and charging your battery outside the camera.

If you need to send your camera in for repair, you can call Nikon USA Service at 1-800-645-6687 9AM-8PM EST, Monday to Friday for assistance or go to there website (link below). They will give you a free repair estimate if your camera is out of warranty.

Camera wont turn on after charging the battery

Bruce, you didn't provide a lot of information but I can tell you that the few times this has ever happened on my Nikon D-90, the battery did not charge, would not charge and I had to throw it away, or it was a charger problem.

I've had it happen when I tried to charge it on my corded Nikon Charger and I never got a charging complete indication after charging over night. When I put it in the camera, the camera indicated it was not charged even though the charger indicated it was charging. But, when I put it on a travel charger, it charged in about an hour and worked fine. The next time I put it on the Nikon charger, it worked fine.

I suggest you verify that the battery is good and charged or capable of charging. If it is, then check to make sure the battery contacts are clean both on the battery and in the camera.

If the contacts are clean and you're sure the battery is good and charged, I'd say the next step is to contact Canon. I've heard their customer service is very good.

It will charge but after i take it off it wont turn on at all

That means the battery of your camera can't hold a charge. The light on your camera or battery indicating that it's charging flashes whenever it detects any power being wired into the device, not necessarily that the battery is holding power. Depending on what camera model and brand you have, you should contact their customer support for a new battery.
Cheers.

Not responding to recharge

1) If your battery is charged separately (removing out of the camera) then try to plug in the contact properly, move it there and back to see if the indicator light changes its color. Sometimes cheap batteries, or chargers lose contact - you should open, find any lose contact and fix. For fixing lithium batteries rubber gloves and eye-protecting glasses are compulsory.
2) If your battery is charged inside of the camera - try to open the camera with a screwdriver and check for any lose contact, move it there and back until some indicator shows that the battery is finally charging. If you can't fix it yourself - a specialized mechanic will help you. Don't be afraid to bring him a disassembled battery.
3) If you conclude that the battery is dead - buy a new one on ebay.com or elsewhere. Remember that original manufacturer's batteries are sometimes more reliable but much more expensive than non-original batteries.

When turing on my Canon SX100IS camera it opens the lense then closes and gives me an E24 error. I am able to replay phones on my SD Card but not take new pictures since the lense retracts

Hi,
you get this error message E24 because your lens is slightly out of alignment. Cycling the camera on/off several times will serve to help the lens to work it's way back in alignment.
Even though your battery may be fully charged, as a Lithium Ion battery ages, it begins to lose capacity so you don't have enough power to take any still . Try a different battery.
Clean the battery contacts with a pencil eraser. Sometimes, a dirty battery contact can prevent the battery from providing all the current the camera needs.

Hope this helps.
