Hi, when I first turn on my Pyle PT260A and goes to the tuner icon, the initial volume is very loud. I always have to be prepared to turn the volume down before it blares.

Is there a way to preset the volume or can I mute it, then turn it up?

That normally happens when the memory battery on the motherboard fails. It no longer remembers what your last setting was.

No service manual for it.

How do I select speaker a or b on the Pyle PT26-A

Pyle products are aimed at the value end of the market. So features get omitted that are deemed "not important" in order to k=get to very low prices. One of these features is the Speaker A/B A+B button.

To implement that feature properly means doing some decent design in the power amp section to handle the switches in load. It also requires a stronger power supply and amplifier section with real guts. These are not Pyle strengths. They're built to a minimum specification.

So the answer is that there is no Speaker A/B A+B switching. Both sets of speaker terminals run all the time.

Sound used to be clear. Now have static. Is my pyle PT54 digital tuner bad? I also get a loud hum when the unit is tunred off.

Sorry, but Pyle isn't good gear. If you've checked all the wiring and nothing else has been altered then I'd point the finger at the Pyle-o-c***

I got a pyle 1800w amp and a 1500w kenwood subs but as i increase the volume in the headunit it goes on protect mode why the other problem i got is as increase the volume in the headunit the bass of the...

The protection modes in these units ****. Most new units have them. What I do is turn down settings on deck and turn up amp as much as possible. Then the protection won't turn on because you won't have to turn it up as high.

HTC TOUCH HAS VERY LOW RINGER VOLUME

Hi,

I have the Touch also and love it. Its simple to turn up the volume. either using the button on the left side of the touch push up until the volume goes all the way up. You can also use the stylus pen and click on the icon that looks like a speaker in the upper toolbar. Then drag up the volume. If these things dont help choose a different ringer. Mine is extremely loud and yours should be too. Also consider updating the software.

Speaker produces sound even when the zone is off

Since the Pyle speaker is a 4 ohm device, it's likely that when you have other zones on, the change in the impedance will affect the volume. Check to see what impedance your other speakers are (standard is usually 8 ohm), and if your tuner has impedance matching for your zones. If it does not, that's most likely your issue. You could get an impedance matching transformer at Radio Shack to resolve this issue. Please rate my solution, thanks.

Amp goes into protect mode after volume is turned up

Not enough juice, check the power and ground connections, another possibility is to have dc in the input, try to use in line filter available from radio shack to cut the dc, also test the with one speaker at the time, you could have a bad speaker (shorted) too.

My pyle amp keeps going into protection when i turn my music up and play it for a min

The most common cause is an unsafe load/speaker impedance. If you have the speakers wired correctly, you may have a short in the wiring. If the wiring is OK, the amp is likely defective
