If your Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washer is filling with water but not washing, spinning, or draining, and you have already replaced the lid switch and timer controller, and checked the pump, it could be due to a faulty motor or a transmission issue. Here are some steps you can try to further diagnose and fix the problem:

  1. Check the Motor: Turn off the washer and unplug it from the power outlet. Open the back panel and locate the motor at the bottom of the washer. Check the motor for any signs of damage, such as burnt wires or a broken belt. If you notice any damage, you may need to replace the motor.
  2. Check the Transmission: The transmission is located under the agitator in the center of the washer. If the transmission is faulty, it can cause the washer to not wash, spin, or drain. Try turning the transmission pulley by hand. If it is difficult to turn or does not turn at all, the transmission may be faulty and needs to be replaced.
  3. Check the Capacitor: The capacitor is a component that helps start the motor. If the capacitor is faulty, it can cause the motor to not start or to make a buzzing sound. Try replacing the capacitor to see if that resolves the issue.
  4. Check the Drive Belt: The drive belt connects the motor to the transmission. If it is loose or damaged, it can cause the washer to not spin or drain. Check the drive belt for any signs of wear or damage. If it needs to be replaced, you can purchase a new one and install it yourself.
If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair. They can inspect the washer thoroughly and ensure that it is working correctly and safely.

It sounds like the Start/Run Capacitor has failed on the motor control board. The motor buzzes when they fail. The capacitor gives the motor a jolt of power to get it turning.

You are welcome. Make sure the buzzing is coming from there. You can use a piece of plastic tube and put one end in your ear as an improvised directional stethoscope. A pump will also buzz if jammed, but it shouldn't fill as it would fail the pre-test..

Whirlpool LSQ9544KQO won't spin

if it fills with water and then nothing check the lid switch,if it's bad it won't do anything but fill, some will agitate but then no drain or spin, the easiest way to check it is open the lid a few inches and close it,do this a few times,if you don't hear a clicking sound the switch is bad,or open the lid and stick a screw driver into the hole on the right side where the strike from the lid goes into,if it doesn't click when you push it down and let it up it's bad, part number 3949237 and it's around 50 dollars.watch this video,it's a different lid switch but changes out the same way.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFsvLiuTniU
you can also stick a jumper wire into the two outside wires to check it,flip up the top console, you'll see the lid switch connector on the right side plugging into the top of the frame, unplug it,stick the jumper into the connector that unplugged from the frame and it will have three holes in it,the middle is ground so stick the jumper into the two outside holes, set the timer to drain and pull out the timer,if it starts to drain and spin then you know the lid switch is bad.hope this helps.

My whirlpool washer will not drain.

There may be something caught in the impeller of the water pump. Check the drain filter for plugging.

Whirlpool washer stoped after the agitate cycle

If it fills with water, agitates then stops still full of water (even if you manually advance the timer), you have a bad lid switch. This is an inexpensive repair, or even a do it yourself project.

Whirlpool ultimate care II will not spin

You said, washer is full of water and will not spin. You hear the lid switch clicking. When you start it on spin cycle and hear a hum, the tub moves a couple of inches and then stops...shortly after it shuts off.

Some reasons this may happen
Washer won’t drain or spin
n
1. Is the drain hose clogged, or the end of the drain hose
more than 72 inches (183 cm) above the floor?
2. Is the lid open? ............Also the lid switch can be faulty!!
The lid must be closed during operation.
3. Is there excessive sudsing?
Always measure detergent. Follow manufacturer’s directions.
4 If you have very soft water, you might need to use less
detergent.

Sounds to me like the lid switch can be faulty!!Then it acts like the lid is open.
