I have a LG 49sm8600 LED TV. Red Light stays on but no video or sound. I have replaced the power board, the main board and the IR sensor PCB. What next?

I have tried all the resets for 60 seconds. Nothing changes.

It could be here that your TV has stopped working and has died too.

My LG 50uh5500-ua tv does not turn on. No picture or sound. When power button is pushed red light blinks 3 times then goes off. Any suggestions or theories?

I had the same problem, changed the power board, main board and t con board. I purchased the led light tester, one string of lights was out. Replaced the lights, and 1/2 of the tv worked. I broke the black tab that connects the ribbon connector to the bottom panel. What a learning experience. Now I have to figure out how to change the ribbon connector.

Going to need more information to help much, what do the various power board rails look like?...are they all good?

Going by the fact this set has had a lot of main board failures I'd lean towards that board but its just a guess without knowing some voltage measurements

Have a Emerson LED tv model LF501EM5F that wont power on completely Starts to pwr on then after 3 sec shuts off I have replced the power brd, main brd and the IR sensor and still does the same thing.

Try removing the LVDS cable that goes to the Tcon board and see if the set stays on, you won't have picture but does the sound stay on...if it does then replace the Tcon board, the only one you haven't replaced it sounds like

I have a lg55la6200 led/lcd smart TV. When I turn it on it stays on for about 15mins and then the screen turns off but sound still on. I have done the flashlight test and can see the picture.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

LED LCD. Is the Main PCB bad?

I'd try the main, its about all that is left if the rails are all good on the power board.
