I posted a question yesterday but it vanished. Does anyone know why?
What was the question we wonder.

Resetting a Honeywell Thermostat
Power off the thermostat and remove the batteries.
Put the batteries in the wrong way, with negative to positive and positive to negative.
Wait ten seconds and put them back in the correct way.
Your thermostat will be reset to factory settings.
Press the Menu button. Press the "+" button until "TIME" appears. ...
You will see "12HR" appear. Here you will be able to choose 12 or 24 hour clock options. ...
This will then bring you to the option to edit the time. ...
Press + or - to adjust the minutes.
Hope this helps.
The crystal oscillator can drift in time after many years of use. A repair is not practical unless access to specific test gear is available. Most workshops haven't got the expertise.
I would replace it with an up to date wireless system, Honeywell supply a number of these. Here is a list in the UK from just one trusted supplier; https://www.screwfix.com/c/heating-plumb...
Straight forward to install by most people with an engineering background.
