My stereo just quit on me there was bad weather but it was on one of those power surge cords it is a pioneer stereo fm-am digital synthesizer tuner

If it was plugged into a surge protector, check the surge protector warranty. There are A LOT of surge protectors that will cover damage to items plugged into them through their warranty system. I've had full home computers and TV's replaced by surge protector companies to avoid having a hit to homeowners insurance.

Sony ht-ct150 will not power on after power outage

It sounds like you might have experienced a power surge from the wall socket that fried some part of your speakers. You will likely have to have the speakers repaired. Consider investing in a surge protector in the future, and check the user manual for the speakers:

It is not working

I'm sorry to hear your DISH Network 311 receiver is not working, in order to further assist you can you please provide me with additional information? For example, was it working and has suddenly stopped working? Does it power on, can you see a light on the front of the receiver? Is it plugged directly into a electrical outlet on the wall, or is it plugged into a power strip/surge protector? If it is plugged into a power strip/surge protector please attempt to bypass and try plugging the receiver directly into the electrical outlet. If you'd like you can post a response if you have additional information to provide or need further assistance. I hope this helps!

Turn everything off but the receiver. If it stays on turn another one on and see if it pops off if not continue. Most receivers have a pause start to prevent power surge. If it continues remove the protector and try the unit alone.

Dead unit

I'm sorry to hear about your DISH Network DVR-625 receiver. If you don't mind me asking & to allow me to further assist you, what exactly do you mean by "dead unit"," For example, was it working and has suddenly stopped working? Does it power on, can you see any lights on the front of your receiver? Is it plugged directly into a electrical outlet on the wall, or is it plugged into a power strip/surge protector? If plugged into a power strip/surge protector, please attempt to bypass by plugging the receiver directly into an electrical outlet- if plugged into an electrical outlet please try a different outlet. I hope these few tips may help but if not and you need further assistance please feel free to contact me @ [email protected] :)

No power

Unplug the tv press power on and plug it back in.
some of these units have a reset clearly marked on the back.
connect direct to wall as the surge protector may now have issue.
