Error code is appearing which is sc672

SC672 occured when controller-to-operation panel communication error at startup After powering on the machine, the communication circuit between the controller and the operation panel is not opened, or communication with controller is interrupted after a normal startup.

Make sure that the MBU is seated correctly. If not, SC672 occurs look at the picture to see what im talking about.

CS320 polygon motor (laser), you will need to replace it, it is not expensive!
CS672 control communication on start up, to many options, from circuit board to bad connection, you will need a tech for this.

sc672 is a communication error between the controller board and some other component. Did you switch the machine off using the orange power switch on the lower left side, or just the power button on the operation panel?

With the power completely off and the machine unplugged, pull the controller board out by removing the two screws holding it in on the rear left side of the machine. (It should slide right out the side.) Check all of the connections on the board and make sure everything is sitting securely, then reinstall the controller board.

Worst case scenario, you might have a bad memory stick, bad controller board, or another bad circuit board, but more than likely there is a connector somewhere that just needs to be set securely. You can also remove the operation panel (two screws on the top of the panel and possibly two screws underneath it as well) and check the harness that connects the op panel board to the machine.

yes a 672 is an address book error. do you have scanner feature on this machine?. it may be bad. you may need a tech to come remove the option. turn the machine on and use it as a copier. then reinstall the option and see if the error returns. it could be a static build up or the option is bad.

It says communication error to control panel at station.

Turn the copier off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on again.

It should go away. If it doesn't a technician needs to come out and look at the problem.
