To reset the AEG B4101-4-M integrated oven after a power outage, you can try the following steps:

  1. Turn off the power to the oven by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker.
  2. Wait a few minutes and then turn the power back on.
  3. Press and hold the "+" and "-" buttons together for about 5 seconds until "D:00" appears on the display.
  4. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the clock to the correct time.
  5. Press the "OK" button to confirm the time setting.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, consult the user manual or contact AEG customer support for further assistance.

Chef EDC691S multifunction duo, after a power blackout the digital display for the timer flashes and upper oven will not work. Can we reset it?

The only reset is to pull the power plug for 5 min's, if that doesn't correct the problem you need a technician to come out.

Hi,from your problem it seems you either have'nt gone through your manual or you don't have one, there is a particular button you can press that makes the display blackout,i think you have mistakenly hit this button that's why the display is blackout.if you do not have the manual you can download it for free at;www.manualsonline.com,www.manualnguide.com to enable you to know this particular button.

ENLIGHTENMENT ON AN ERROR CODE

The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a few minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

Otherwise, your best bet is to contact AEG customer service here:
http://www.aeg-electrolux.co.uk/node137.asp

I'd bet that customer service will not know the meaning of the code (if it's not in your owner's manual) and they will steer you to a service center.

The service center will probably not tell you what the code means, preferring instead to repair it for you.

Good luck.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
