LG 55LW5700 has colour bands in wallpaper and then people's faces in closeups lacking detail almost looks cartoonish. This started happening after I hooked up new soundbar, but it is now disconnected.

Can I replace LG 55LW6500 Main board with LG 55LW5700?

Best thing to do is remove the back and see if both sets have the same part number board, even a 55LW6500 used 3 different boards in that model set, its hard to go by model when looking for replacement boards...good luck!

LG 55LW5700 has sound but just a green luminous screen with black lines in it sometimes hex shaped. On power up the LG logo flashes for a millisecond then the screen goes to green. Is this fixable?

SONY BRAVIA KDL-40XBR2 faces look like cartoons

Tow possibilities. [1] The LVDS cable (the flat cable that connects between T'Con and LCD panel) loose contact at its connection sockets. Re-insert this very carefully, and check. [2] Fault to T'Con board itself. If so it should be replaced. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. LCD Screen problem if your LCD in under warrnaty so in that case LG provide Free services and they change your LCD Screen please contect LG Services station.

I cannot see Jupiter and its colored bands. All I see is a bright dot with 4 moons.

You may need a larger apeture for more detail. Do you have the closeup lense in place? I had a telescope many years ago and all I could see is about what you describe. It's the lenses you use, not a fault of the scope.

To set a picture as wallpaper

if its a picture you have on your lg vu oyu hit the four dot in the shape of a square key in the far left corner facing the phone.now on the forth right side thing down you touch the little whell. after that you click display. then click wallpaper.then you click pictures. and you choose your favorite.
