Please remove the batteries from your tv remote and then turn on the tv directly from the tv itself. If it stays on that means that your remote had an iffy power button that was the source of the tv constantly being turned off and on. Thank you.
Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.
The standby power supply resistors on the inverter board have changed values. You will replace resistors R1217, (820K 1/4 watt), R1218,(820K 1/4 watt) and R1219 (390K 1/4 watt). Please use the values just mentioned. Or you may have the inverter board replaced. Take this note to a TV repair Tech. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!
Mine was doing the same thing. Update the firmware and it fixes the problem. Updating the firmware is done by downloading the file to a thumb-drive from the phillips product support page then plugging in the drive into the side of your television and turning it on. See your manual for slightly better instructions.
