Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
Wait for a few minutes, then plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check if the error has been cleared.

52 Scanner Error
The all-in-one has experienced an internal hardware error.

1. Turn off the power by using the power switch, and then wait at least 30 seconds.
2. If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the all-in-one directly into the wall socket.
3. Check the FFC connection between the formatter and the scanner.
NOTE Do not bend or fold the FFCs during the removal or reinstallation process.
4. Try connecting the product to a different power source or surge protector.
5. Turn on the power and wait for the all-in one to initialize.
6. If the error persists, replace the laser scanner assembly.

Print Cartridge Motor Error.
Try removing then re-installing the cartridge. If that does not work then you will need to try a different toner cartridge as the toner cartridge is "locked up". These are the most common solutions. If none of these work then you have a cartridge drive problem and will need to contact a service center.

HP Color laser jet 4700n 49.3048 service error

The problem is usually caused by printing a PDF file with fonts/page size/ page formating errors which will cause the printer to display the 49.3048 error. The only way to use the printer is to POR or recycle the power and delete the print job from the server or spooling device and cancel it on the printer before the offending command is issued to the printer again. You can try updating the firmware to the latest version 46.140.5 from the HP website. MIke L.

Turn the printer off and then back on. Does it go to the ready state? or does it come up and error? If the error only comes up when asking the printer to print then the printer probably has a worn paper pickup roller. You can take the old roller out and rotate the rubber tyre a little.
