Lamp/cover button blinking red, how can I solve my Sony projector?

After a fall from its support, my SONY EX 245 projector is not working anymore. When I turn it on, it shuts down after few seconds and the lamp/cover light is blinking red. Can someone help me on what can be done? I tried to change the lamp without any success. Nothing appears broken inside… Thank you

If it blinks with 2 flashes, it's overheated. Check the filter unit.
If it blinks with 4 flashes, a fan is not working properly. see if any fan is not turning on, and check why.
If it blinks with 6 flashes, it's a system internal failure.

New lamp is placed in tv, but tv won't come on. Light in front of power button is blinking green, then blinks red. Not sure what the problem is
One question, why you decided to replace lamp in tv? Did tv showed red lamp light blinking?
Suggestion, make sure lamp cover has been placed back in its position after lamp replacement, lamp cover is first thing that you removed from tv cabinet to take out lamp.

I have solved this problem. Seems the rotating stand on the front bottom needed to be pushed and turned so that it inserts well inside. If it not well pushed the projector keeps shutting down itself every 10-15seconds. Took me about an hour to open the projector and doing all kinds of experiments to finally try that. :)
