I found a Portugese version of the user manual for the JVC RX-884VBK at ManualsLib here: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Jvc-Rx-884vbk-3775235.html . Take a look at the sections on using the remote starting around page 65. (There is a section on the CompuLink Features and then a page about using the remote with a VCR. After that, I saw remote control codes.) Most Redi-remotes are programmed with the factory standard codes for an original remote. That means that it will not control other AV devices that are newer than the RX-884VBK. Usually universal remotes are limited to controlling devices that were manufactured/programmed 6 months or more before the remote itself was programmed.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Redi remote instructions

I made a mistake buying this Redi Remote EUR64555. No instructions, no manual, and no help on the internet. I wasted $37.95 on a piece of useless merchandise
which I will throw into the waste. One site wanted $25 to help with a $39 remote. Thanks, but no thanks. Good money wasted!

tcl 55s425 I get the back light but no display and some vertical lines I've done the basic stuff, no help, reseated and inspected all ribbon cables. i think the fuse is blown on the tcon bd.don't have 12v on 1 side of fuse. look like another smaller fuse and that may be blown also.
