True GDM-12EM-LD Lights not coming on and display not showing USE
Was running just fine, now the fluorescent light won't turn on and the display board just has 3 dashes across it. If I hit one of the setting button on the display some red lights will blink and fridge light turns on, but then it just goes back to the three dashes and the light turns back off. Seems to still be cooling

Re:
It sounds like there may be an issue with the display board or the control module in your True GDM-12EM-LD refrigerator. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check the power source: Ensure that the refrigerator is properly plugged into a working outlet and that the outlet is receiving power. You may also want to check the circuit breaker or fuse to make sure it hasn't tripped.
Check the door switch: The door switch is what activates the lights when the door is opened. If the switch is faulty, the lights may not turn on. Try pressing the switch to see if it activates the lights.
Check the control module: The three dashes on the display board typically indicate that there is a problem with the control module. Try resetting the module by unplugging the refrigerator for a few minutes, then plugging it back in. If this doesn't work, you may need to replace the control module.
Check the fluorescent light: If the light itself is faulty, it may need to be replaced. Check to make sure the bulb is securely screwed in and that the contacts are clean.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact a qualified refrigeration technician to diagnose and repair the problem.

drain tube runs from dead center of the coil into the back wall and down under the unit where it drains into a pan and is evaporated. Sounds like just a blocked drain tube. The easiest way to clear this is to take the bottom front grill off and look for the drain tube which is typically just strapped to the top of the opening suspended over the pan. Use a wet vac to pull out the sludge or some kind of pressure to blow it back up into the cabinet. Problem with blowing back is that dirt and water are going to blow into the cabinet and/or coil. taking the hose off of the interior coil is difficult and you can break the plastic connector so I don't recommend that to anyone.
The door bulb is a standard , I believe 32" t-12 newer units may be t-8, common bulb in stores. I've got an older gdm 23 and the bulb on top is a curved one , harder to find. Also these lights have ballasts that power them, they also can fail
turn thermostat all the way to the left to turn it off. restore power and see if it stays on and inside fan is running. Then turn thermostat to rite to turn on compressor. If the power trips when turning thermostat back on, the compressor may be bad. :(
