If you want to use your Bang & Olufsen (B&O) headphones as an intercom only, without any phone-related functionality, you can try the following steps to remove the "no dial tone" alert:

  1. Disable the Bluetooth and/or cellular data connections on your B&O headphones and/or mobile device, if applicable.
  2. Check the user manual or settings menu of your B&O headphones to see if there is an option to disable or customize alerts or notifications. If so, try to find and disable the "no dial tone" alert or any other phone-related alerts.
  3. If you cannot find an option to disable or customize the alert on your B&O headphones, you may need to use a third-party app or tool to block or filter the alert. For example, you could try using a call blocker app that can silence or redirect calls and notifications.
  4. Alternatively, you could try to physically disconnect or remove any phone-related components or cables from your B&O headphones, such as the microphone, speaker, or charging cable, if possible. However, this may affect the functionality or quality of your headphones as an intercom.
Keep in mind that removing the "no dial tone" alert or disabling phone-related functionality on your B&O headphones may affect their warranty, compatibility, or safety. Therefore, it is recommended to consult the manufacturer or a qualified technician before making any modifications or repairs to your headphones.

I have a Panasonic Keyphone Model: KX-T7750, having problem with alert of intercom/incoming calls. No ring tone but with flash light and intercom light on. May I know how to fix this. Thank you!

Calls are signalled in two ways. First, check the Ringer switch on the left side of the phone. It's a 3 position switch OFF/LO/HI. If the outside lines are blinking the MESSAGE light, then the ringer is probably turned off. If your intercom calls are toning but not ringing, you may have the AUTO ANS light lit. Press it until it's off and intercom calls will either start ringing or send an audible tone.
If it tones, then you have a programming problem where intercom calls are set to tone instead of ring. That's corrected in system programming.

HOW DO I GET THE INTERCOM TO HAVE A TONE ALERT

It's done in programming so the AUTO ANSWER button can control it. It needs to be dark and you need to tell the phone it's a TONE CALL. In a TA series that's done via (without picking up the handset) press PROGRAM 41 STORE. (42 is VOICE CALL and the button becomes the MUTE key).

Now, the AUTO ANS button toggles between ringing on the intercom and Voice Announce with Handsfree Answerback when lit.

My intercom button flashed red to green. When I push a line button, I get a two-tone beep but no dial tone. I changed the internal 9 v battery. I unplugged the phone and waited, then plugged it back in....

Each telephone must be connected to line 1 and line 2 for
proper operation. The remaining lines 3 and 4 may — or may not —
be connected to each station as you desire. First plug in the battery, then the phone lines (1 & 2 are mandatory), and third the power cord. If your intercome LED is blinking red and green, then press: STORE IN, followed by "INTERCOM" followed by a free intercom# (i.e., any of the memory buttons 1 through 16 not already assigned to another telephone set). Then wait for the phone to go through its initiation sequence during which it searches each of the four possible lines. After that concludes, you should get dial tone on your active lines. :-) Marco
