Is there a security light lit on the dash or anti-theft system symbol ? If it is the anti-theft system your going to have to take to the dealer ,sorry but you don't have the diagnostic equipment to fix this .

Is the Security light on? Could be too many things to list here. Step 1. Scan for codes. If no codes, see if it's losing spark or fuel or both. If it's losing fuel, it might be the pump or relay or wiring or computer. If no spark, it could be cam sensor or computer. Security light on means the key or anti-theft module has a problem. If equipped. Kind of what it sounds like, the computer shuts off the spark when the theft module does not detect the proper key chip.

Your anti theft is not working properly you will need to have a scan completed to find the source of the problem it could be one of several problems a guess would be a excessive amount of money spent unnecessarily.However scan will pin point the problem and allow you to take it from that point unless you have a on board scanner you might have to take your car in for this to be completed due to anti theft protection your car is equipped with serial numbers from factory no to cars are the same and neither is the security code for your anti theft system dealer holds the information on this you will need proof of owner ship to have this done this is one of those things with anti theft one way they are great but in this case not so great.
