NOn electric bidet with hot and cold water , can I just hook up to cold water only ,because the hot water is bit far from the toilet. Thanks.

If you can stand washing in cold water there is no reason why it should not be connected to only the cold supply though if the bidet is fitted with a combined hot/cold tap (faucet) the hot water inlet should be plugged.

It should be possible to run hot water to the bidet and would be worth the effort. Modern flexible plastic pipe and associated fittings will carry hot water and overcome many plumbing problems.

Roundup battery propelled sprayer not working

Fix for electric spray wand not working that worked for me. Yes my wand would only spit out some foam, and nothing appeared to be clogged. The wand would spray just fine when I placed the siphon tube into a bucket of water.

Apparently what was happening was that the wand pump was creating a partial vacuum in the air tight canister, causing the electric pump to stop pumping. After all the battery pump is not all that powerful, just got a little foam. So I unscrewed the cap about one turn allowing replacement air into the canister and the wand started working.

A small jet of water is released up through the seat onto the person seated

You have a bidet:

Google search for 'toilet seat bidet'

As general rule, men do not use this feature.

Bidet doesn't work

sounds like you have air in the lines. Try turning on the bidet then shutting off the water to the bidet at water cutoff then turning the water back on all while the water valve on the bidet is turned on. this might fix the problem. good luck and let me know
