This is a known issue (though Aiptek might deny it) with this model. Check out this forum at Steve's Digicams for posts on the MPVR and the lag:

It can be fixed with video editing software. I use Windows Movie Maker to copy the audio track from the video and paste it back in as a separate audio track. Then I mute the original and cut very little snips off the pasted-in audio track and slide it over until it matches the video.
It's supposed to be possible to fix this problem with software that will reduce the framerate from 30fps to 29.97fps or 25fps (don't remember which), but I haven't had any luck with that method so far.

We just got our video camera and the first time we used it the sound didn't match the video. Would love to have a solution.
I have the same problem. The sound lags behind the video. Need help.
the sound lags on my aipitek like a chinese godzilla movie!!
I too notice that the voice lags behind the picture like a really bad movie :)
I just got my mpvr+cb and I noticed when I was recording in low light in my house I didnt have the lag problem so I started testing this out I turned on all my lights and recorded a small video and there it was lagging, turned off all the lights except for one and recorded again,no lag.I dont understand what is going on with that.
when i record in low light there is no lag,but when im outside or in a lot of light you definitely notice the lag.
