So the arm is getting stuck on the back side of the rack, it clears the front. I know it is turning as tested it by pushing forward of the catch and then it catches again each time on the back of the bottom rack. Model # DW80K7050US. The arm readily lifts out and is very wiggly. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Check on the upper side of the basket it can be there is a lever in the grip when pressed and pull up can raise the basket height if fitted check that the basket is not deformed in, some way that may cause this
The clearance is governed by two things
The height of the shelf and the height of the spray bar.
Pull out the basket and check the screws holding the rails to the body.
Remove the spay Bar and check the bushings and whatever dictates the height. It should spin, but shouldn't wobble.
Testimonial: "I checked the rack, wheels seem good and the rack seems is level when sitting on the counter. I think I have determined the problem, but not sure I can fix. The nozzle that holds the arm on the bottom of the washer appears to be bent (weird because it is plastic). This of course makes the arm low in the front and high in the back where it is hitting the rack. I placed a level on the gray tubelike nozzle (way uneven) and on the arm setting in the nozzle (way uneven). It looks like that part is part of a larger piece of plastic that will need to be replaced. I guess I am calling a repair man:)"
Sorry, I think I put the comment in the wrong place:).

YES! That part. Do you know how to get that thing out of my dishwasher...do I pull up or turn?
Here is what it looks like in my machine
YAY!!! I fixed it...somehow finally got that lower side pulled up so it was even. THANK YOU!!!!!
Great picture, well done. Fixya usually ruins pictures!
It is a guess, but it wouldn't surprise me if that can't be fixed. You see the gap at the front where the ridge is? It isn't 'bent', it just isn't sitting right. But how should it go? What I would try is turning it anti-clockwise as though you were unscrewing it, but push down at the same time. My guess is that it is a press fit with an O-ring, or it is a bayonet fitting. Or turn it backwards and forwards whilst pressing down to seat it. Let me know how you get on :>)
Ah, you fixed it. I started typing my answer and got called away for a few hours. I think the high side need to go down, but whatever works. Well done.
