If the power light is on, then the unit is receiving power. The first thing to do is to check the thermostat settings and make sure they are set correctly. If the thermostat settings are correct, then you may need to check the fan motor and heating element for any signs of damage or wear. If there is damage or wear, then you may need to replace the fan motor or heating element. If there is no visible damage, then you may need to contact a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.

I have a nordyne dual unit e2eh012ha and the blower won’t come on in auto when calling for cooling. It will work if the fan switch is set to on but then the A coils freeze. The previous owners did not...

the blower runs when in on position but the coil still freezes?? that may be a separate issue but it sounds to me like a setting issue in the tstat. you need to read the manual and set the setting to where the tstat controls the fan rather than the equipment controls the fan.

Defrost & power lights are blinking, Unit does not heat.

Heat pumps are only good above certain temps, like mentioned. Then usually heater coils come on if the unit has them. It may not. Check the manual, or Google the make and model for a user manual. Make sure all your breakers are on all the way, not tripped. A tripped one will be a little away from on, turn it all the way off and then on again.

Oven won't heat.

Good Afternoon Gwen - Try reprogramming the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. If issue persists, then the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with a wiring failure, EOC (electronic oven control), sensor probe and/or faulty bake or broil element. I would strongly recommend consulting a professional to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause.

I know carrier products will run the fan for 90seconds after power up before doing anything if there's a call for heat when the power is turned on, or if there was a call for heat when power was shut off, but they give a code for that. If you let it run for a while and it doesn't initiate the heating sequence despite a call for heat (24v on 'W' terminal) then I'm inclined to say you've got a bad board.

Fan keep,s blowing

Your thermostat is calling for blower, your fan relay is stuck, or that model had a time delay blower solid state board on it which had the blower relay on it, and it could be bad. I would turn the power off to all of your system for a few minutes and see if this could make something happen.
