Hi!
To get the TI-8230 to "grab" the adding tape properly, you should follow these steps:

  1. First, make sure that you have a fresh roll of adding tape inserted correctly into the printer.
  2. Next, turn on the calculator and press the "feed" button to advance the tape through the printer mechanism.
  3. Once the tape is advanced, press the "clear" button to reset the calculator to 0.
  4. Begin entering your calculations, and the calculator will automatically print each entry onto the tape as you go.
  5. If the tape starts to slip or become loose, gently pull on the tape from the roll to tighten it, and then press the "feed" button to advance it through the printer mechanism again.
  6. If the tape still won't grab, try using a pencil eraser to clean the rubber roller that feeds the tape through the printer. Gently rub the eraser back and forth across the roller to remove any dust or debris that may be preventing the tape from feeding properly.
By following these steps, you should be able to get the TI-8230 to grab the adding tape properly.

Regards

My TI-5130 will not add and subtract

It probably uses adding machine logic. Try the following example.

3+
4-
5+
*

You should get 3, -1, and 4 on the screen, the running total. The tape should show the +3, -4, +5, and finally 4, the numbers that you entered and the total. Think of each entry as adding/subtracting integers on a number line rather than 3+4-5;)

Let me know if you have any questions.

I have 2 battery watches that lose time when on only why?

try adding a little piece of foam tape to back of watch , the technical reason for this is that , the crystal that generates the time signal for the watch is being affected by the person wearing it body temperature , this is why the same watch might not be affected on another person , anyways the foam tape doesn't affect the person any but does add a tiny bit of insulation from there body heat , larger more expensive watches have thicker back cases for this reason as well , but the foam tape trick worked for me !!

Adding 0

What does that mean adding? Displaying extra zeros? If that is the case Press [2nd][.] and limit the number of decimal you want.
You can put the calculator in FLOating mode: Press 2nd DRG and choose FLO.

You have to push my fridge door shut..

Make sure that it is level side ti side and even better to have it to be leaning back slightly. Another thing that will help is to have the door shelves full. This added weight will help the door shut on its own. The last trick is to apply some cooking oil to the door seal to make it shut easier.

My iphone's ipod stopped playing songs properly and i cant get connected to wifi even after i restored it it still has the same problem

Sounds like a firmware issue to me, so I would think updating the firmware should help. If not, virginizing it may, but since I haven't encountered this problem, I really can't say for sure.
Good Luck.
