LG Fridge GS-L668PNL (Control Panel-Display) not working

Recently relocated a LG Fridge Model GS-L668PNL Dual Door fridge to new premises. Both the Fridge and Freezer doors had to come off to fit through narrow doorway. Both doors were refitted back the same way and all wiring was reconnected incl ground lead and water lines at bottom of fridge. Fridge left to sit for quite a few hours for compressor oil to return and gasses to settle. Turned on fridge later that night to find fridge working (Fridge and Freezer) cooling nice and cold and lights working inside of fridge but the entire front display panel was off. Ice Maker seemed to be making ice and only crushed ice working only as Cubed and water cannot be selected when placing a glass cup underneath. Retraced my steps incl checking all wiring again and everything is connected as it should. No wires look pinched either around L/H Upper Door Hinge. Disconnected the two main plugs on L/H Upper Door Hinge and found ice maker didn't work but fridge lights still on and cooling fine. Reconnected both of those plugs back again but display panel still doesn't work but ice maker does. Have ordered another Control Panel (Display) in the hope this fixes it. Any suggestions please on what else it could be thank you.

It is possible that the issue is with the control panel (display) itself, as you have ordered a replacement. However, before installing the new control panel, you should check the wiring connections and make sure they are secure and not damaged. You should also check the electrical supply to the fridge to ensure that it is functioning properly. If the issue persists after installing the new control panel, you may want to consider calling a professional to diagnose the issue.

I have a whirlpool 6th sense single door fridge. the icons on the control panel on the door are no longer visible (i.e. the control panel is dark). the fridge is still working. Do I need a new fuse?

No. Fuses have nothing to do with it. You would need to meter the voltage from the control board to determine if the display is receiving the power it needs to run properly.... Help Me Find My Model Number RepairClinic com

Plugged new lg LSC27921..how do we turn it on

There is not central power switch fitted to this model, check:
1. All cables are connected at both ends.
2. The wires to the control panel are connected, to check this remove the plastic cove that covers the top hinge of the door with the control panel and make sure that connecters are correct. Of course you should make sure that the fridge is unplugged before you do this.
let me know if that solves your problem.

Also remember to allow your new fridge to settle after moving it before plugging it in as the gas takes up to 12 hours to settle.

Freezer cold/fridge warm

You have a defrost issue and needs to be serviced by a qualified LG technician.  The freezer fan motor is blocked by a large chunk of ice behind the rear panel of the freezer section.  You will need to remove the rear panel to get access to the fan and get rid of the ice.  This will get your refrigerator working again but this problem will return.  You will need to have your control board replaced.

Changing panel display from farinheit (sp?) to celcius

Hold the colder button for the fridge and the colder button for the freezer both for about 3 to 4 seconds. It should change to C.
