This may be a 1977 product. I find no source for a service manual for it other than above and am not sure of a perfect match at that. The Panasonic site and its community links do not list the model currently. One might call the support number and ask if they carry old service manuals for sale but that well may be fruitless. I do not find the model for sale on ebay, either.

Power to technics rs-t24 dual deck

I own a RS-T24 as well and stumbled upon this thread while searching for this exact same solution. The RS-T24 generates no power on its own. It gets its power from, in my case, the SU-V75 amplifier. I still have a working SU-V75 and got the following readings out of the plug-in for the RS-T24 on the amp:

Left = pin 1 - (white wire)
Middle = pin 2
Right = pin 3

1-2 = 11.5 vac
1-3 = 23.0 vac
2-3 = 11.5 vac

Panasonic AG-DV2000 Mini DV loading problem

the "dv sensor"is actually a mechanical lever built into the cassette housing that moves the reel tables to match the reel spacing on mini or full-size DV tapes. check to see if this assembly is free to move. if it binds up, the reel tables may not move as far as they need to, and can cause problems similar to the one you're seeing. to inspect the mechanism, you need to remove the cassette housing. if you don't have a service manual, get a tech to help -- it's a delicate procedure for the inexperienced.
