Staples SPL-TXC122A 12-Sheet High-Speed Cross-Cut Shredder. Where do the keepers go on a shredder?

There are two keepers that are loose in side the shredder compartment?

I have never seen anything inside a shredder, I would describe as a 'keeper'. They are very simple, a switch, a motor, some gears and rotating teeth. Here is a repair video that might help.

This appears to be a shredder rather than a Car and Trucks issue. I have moved you to the correct category and edited your question for clarity.

Remove the head and vacuum all the dust and paper bits, top and bottom. There is a sensor in there that is looking for a sheet of paper. When you turn it on, it thinks it has found it. While you are at it, oil the blades.

Angela here. I have the same exact model Staples Paper shredder.spl txc122a. I have been looking for a bin because mine stopped working 3years ago because one of the grooves in the bin broke, that stopped it from working.

It is the best paper shredder I ever had and I refused to let go of it even after staples wouldn't fix it or even sell me another bin. Well here I am today searching all over the Internet AGAIN; looking for amother bin and was about to give up and found your post.

I have a key if you would like to purchase it for a small fee of $30 if you want the shredder as well for a backup I can sell it as well for $50 As I explained before the bin is no good so i'd only ship the shredder which is very heavy so the majority would go towards shipping.

I've had it! I'm cleaning house and giving up

Janome CMX30 only works when foot pedal is pressed in? I've not used in a while but display, light and functions only comes on when the pedal is pressed. I don't remember having any difficulty with it last time. So I know power connection is fine, but only seems to be on when pedal is pushed. It doesn't sew when pressed just switched on.
