Pilot light wont light will spark, but no propane

verify the inlet pressure to the heater. those pezioelectric spark lighters are garbage. make sure all manual shut off valves to the heater are open. Pilot tubing may also be blocked

I need a thermocouple for a dyna glo heater model #RMC-40GT

I believe on your particular model , that you have to replace the entire pilot assembly. As the thermocouple is an intricate part of it. In which case any LP or Natural Gas heater's pilot assembly will fit it. You will have to secify either Natural Gas or LP Gas when ordering.

I have provided 2 links to where you can purchase the pilot assembly you need.

Have a vent free lp wall mounted heater.40 lp tank with regulater. pilot light will light but only the tip of pilot light is flame.there is a space between pilot light and tube where lp comes out. does not...

Too much gas pressure. Are you sure that this is a LP heater and not a Natural gas heater? Is the regulator you have rated under 1/2 pound pressure? Try to throttle down the shutoff on the tank to see if pilot gets better. If so, you have a pressure issue. Gas you adjust the pilot gas valve?

Dyna glo tag along propane heater pilot stays on but when turning

sounds like either a bad thermocouple or more likely a pressure regulator problem. should have unit checked by someone familiar with propane systems.

Pilot will stay lit but will go out when unit is turned to low

is the pressure regulator right for the type of gas your using...? i had the same problem.i found out that my regulator was for both lp and nat.gas.i also found out there is a small nylon pin underneath the brass cap on top of the regulator.i unscrewed the cap and the fitting was set for lp.and i was using nat. gas.i just pulled the nylon pin out, flipped it around and replaced the cap...works fine now.if your regulator is like mine the nylon pin is maked LP on one end and NAT. on the other.might be worth a try

My glo-warm propane heater keeps shutting off automatically-pilot and all.

my heater says if the pilot light keeps going off automatically it is a safety function that means it does not have enough fresh air to operate
