You can find a replacement clic assembly for your Bosch 1587vs jigsaw online from Bosch or from third-party retailers. You can also find clic assemblies from hardware stores, home improvement stores, or tool supply stores in your local area. Make sure you get the correct clic assembly for your Bosch jigsaw model.

Bosch 1587vs blade won't tighten when installing

It sounds like you are having difficulty tightening the blade on your Bosch 1587vs jigsaw. To resolve this issue, first unplug the tool and lift up on the knob and loosen the spindle lock. Then insert the blade and push up slightly while doing so and twist to align the blade with the roller. Make sure to turn past resistance until it clicks. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the "clic" assembly, part #2-602-025-901.

I have a bosch nexxt 500 series washer. When closed it clicks 3 times in series for 3 cycles and then displays e 01. I replaced the lock mechanism with a part directly from bosch and still the same

An answer found on a BOSCH support site said:

"the E:01 indicates a door lock error, make sure the door is closing tightly, you also may have a loose connection on either the door latch assembly or the control board, if these check out replace the latch assembly."

Since you've already replaced the mechanism then it seems possible a loose -connection- may be your problem. If you've already checked all this, please post back.

05'deville just clic clic when tryn to start it

Hi Allen, Make sure that the battery terminals are clean or better still replace them. check the connections on the battery and on the starter motor. If everything seems good the problem may well be with the starter solenoid and the contactors inside the unit. Regards John

How do I change a blade with the Bosch 1587VS?

you need to lift up on the knob to loosen the spindle and remove/install the blade. To install the blade you might need to turn it some and push up and when it is straight then you need to turn the knob while holding up on it till it is snug and then push the knob down.

How the h... do i cabnge the blade on the bosch 1582 cutter ??

I am assuming you are asking because you have a CLIC system.

Bosch uses a tool-less blade changing system for its jigsaws that it calls "Clic." The system makes changing blades fast and simple. With the simple blade changing you get with the Bosch jigsaws, it is no problem to change out a dull blade.

REMEMBER: SAFETY FIRST LAST AND ALWAYS!!!

Make sure the saw is unplugged or the battery is removed.

If you have a blade in there:

Hold the saw over a work bench and push the ejector lever to the center of the front of the saw. There is a center stop; you will feel it. The blade will eject and fall out

Insert the new saw blade into the plunger until it latches into place. The teeth should face toward the front of the saw. The back of the blade should rest in the groove of the guide roller. The plunger and the guide roller are between the body of the saw and the plate

If the blade will not go into the plunger, check the positioning of the slots in the blade. They should be at the top. Push the ejector lever and try again.

Give the blade a yank to check that it is firmly seated. Plug the saw back in or replace the battery and proceed with the cut

Use protective gloves when handling blades. They can be sharp and can be HOT.

I hope this helps

After changing the blade on a bosch 1587VS jig saw the blade turns sideways when sawing. How is this corrected? Thanks

I would recheck the installation of the blade and the tightness. If still a problem there is a spring under the lever that might have broke (they tend to do that) and is jamming the spindle. Let me know and I will help you with the breakdown for this tool
