To open the case of the BYTECC ME-350V4, you will need to remove the screws on the back of the case. Once the screws are removed, you can carefully lift the top of the case off to access the internal components. Be sure to take extra care when handling the case as it may contain sensitive components.

Installing IDE drive in Bytecc ME-350V4 (no manual supplied)

It sounds from your description you change out some hardware and left the wire behind. IDE is consider to be old technology replaced by SATA. Unless it broken don't play with the wire, you could either leave the wire handing loose or just remove the ide ribbon wire, either way it won't hurt the computer.

How do i put my hard drive inside? me

Open the external case, by removing some screws, and sliding the cover away from the insides.
Connect your disk-drive to the "power" and "data" connections, and secure the disk-drive with the mounting screws. Close the case.

Software for 500GB

I don't think BYTECC sells complete external hard drives. But they do sell the enclosures. People buy the enclosures and install a hard drive in them and, now you have a working external hard drive. I have don't this before, but I have never used BYTECC before. You can download the drivers for there enclosures at there website:

http://www.byteccusa.com/

They have several different versions, Just pick the correct one, hopefully the enclosure has some markings or a sticker identifying the model.

Sleep i think

SOunds like a possible over heat inside the case or the power supply is not stable. Try running it with the case partially open and seeing if there is any variation on  the board.
