The Bosch JSRZ 5-T PG tankless gas water heater may not start automatically because of problems with the magnetic sensor valve, power supply, or control unit/thermostat. Possible troubleshooting steps are:

  • inspect the water inlet valve and replace if faulty
  • confirm that power to the unit is functioning
  • if the problem continues, seek professional repair service.

Bosch 125fx heater barely heats water

1) Recommend replacing tankless with ordinary tank-type gas water heater.

2) Tankless cannot be exposed to more than 11 grains hardness in water or unit will fail within 2-5 years. Water softener is required.
http://hometips.me/Tls/Battelle_Water-softening-research.pdf

3) Descaling tankless water heater each year will not restore functionality, or restore efficiency of tankless, nor restore full efficiency to tank-type gas water heater.

4) Bradford White side-by-side testing research comparing their tankless with their tank-type shows that tankless will save $1-8 per month on energy bill vrs ordianry tank-type ....but conclude that tankless 'fall far short of payback' due to maintenance, repair, installation and replacement costs.
Study compared full cost, and not just monthly energy bill, since All costs are energy.

Bosch Confort S 13 BP tankless water heater won't ignite, It clicks but no gas going thru valve

The S 13 BP is a simple unit that does not have a pilot light. It uses electronic ignition on demand, which is what you hear clicking. If there is no gas going through and you've verified there is gas to the inlet, then it has to be the gas control valve.

My Bosch Water Heater keeps going off. I reset it and then A7 keeps coming up. We had a power outage for about 6 days. I do not have the manual. Do you know what it is and how to fix it? Thank...

Questions might be asking for a manual, and asks what error A7 means, and asks how to fix error problem, but model number of Bosch heater is not given.
Error codes are start-point for troubleshooting, and can include multiple causes.
So following answer provides general do-it-yourself resources, without saying that problem can be 100% diagnosed or fixed by homeowner.

1) Error code A7 is outlet temperature sensor fault.
Problems include: need for descaling, dirty inlet water filter, debris in faucet aerators, dirty wiring terminals, bad wiring harness, or bad temperature sensor.

2) Before calling service technician who can test failed parts and catch tankless up on yearly maintenance, open following links for Bosch resources including error codes, phone number, possible manual, and descaling instructions, and cleaning inlet filter:

3) Product manual: Question posted under model 125HX-LP
Open following link for possible manual:

Cannot find pilot light on my bosch GWH635ESL, help!

Call Bosch
Gas Products Technical Support: 800-642-3111

That model number is only shown at one website, and that model number is not shown at Bosch.
Open following link for Bosch:
http://www.boschwaterheater.com/BoschHotWatercomHome/GasProducts/tabid/331/Default.aspx
Search of Bosch for that model number shows no result.

Some water heaters do not have a pilot light. Instead they use hot surface igniter rod that glows red hot
The igniter rod ignites the gas after solenoid valve opens and gas flows to combustion chamber.
The igniter rod and heat sensor have to be operational, and have to be positioned correctly for ignition to take place.
If igniter rod is not working, or if heat sensor does not detect flame, then gas solenoid valve shuts down and water heater does not heat water.

I have a powerstar ae115 water heater that is 3 years old. The thermal cutout onthe left side keeps tripping. after shutting off the shower the temp on the top of the unit is reaching 185*f. I have...

You've done the required first-step troubleshooting and maintenance.
If thermal cutout keeps tripping, and unit is actually reaching 185, then something is wrong with wiring, temperature sensor, gas valve, or PC board. Or combination of factors.
Call service technician, and open following link for some Bosch tankless resources including Bosch contact information:

My aquaStar 125 BNG,will not shut down automatically when water turned off.

The water valve may be dirty and sticking, prohibiting it from fully closing the gas valve. This part needs to be periodically serviced (every 2-5 yrs depending on water quality and use) Purchase a water valve rebuild kit to service water valve.
This answer is off the Bosch site.

Heater not getting started.batteries are o.k.

Sounds like the 125X unit. This unit has a brass water valve. Be sure to service the water valve every 1-2 years. It is the most common cause of the 125 series heater not working. There is also an inlet filter screen on the water valve that needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Had the unit for seven years, it started to leak water around the water valve. Bosch aqua Star 125x ng

You have to fix this leak around the water valve before
it causes damage to your equipment.
1. Close the water supply valve going to your tankless
water heater.
2. Unplug or close the natural gas valve.
3. Now, you can work fixing the leak.
4. Once completed, you can proceed to open the
natural gas valve as well as the water supply valve.
5. Then, have it tested to get it done.
