Icant get my acer travelmate to boot from cd
You need to set the BIOS configuration to boot from the CD.

I'm not sure how the Travelmate enters the BIOS (Setup), it could be the F1, F2, ESC or DEL ket after the ACER logo and before the Windows logo appear on the screen. When the BIOS opens, go to the Config page, set the CD to be the first boot device.
