Sony LCD Model KF-60WE610 lamp was replaced and then it shortly after stopped turning on. Blinks Green 6 times then Red 6 times Please help!

For Sony Model KF-60WE610, KF-50WE610, and KF-42WE610, the Diagnostic Code of power light indicator flashing 6 times green, then flashing 6 times red (6 red etc), means you need to replace part number A-1302-272A G1 BOARD, COMPLETE. See Sony Service Manual, 4. Chasis-1 at part Ref no. 103. The Power Board sits vertically in two slots on the left side of the electronics board. 4 wire connectors to remove when replacing. This component fits all 3 KF models listed above.

Standby light flashes twice

The power supply board may have been damaged. Try leaving the TV unplugged overnight so the Tv can discharge and reset itself. If this doesn't work, the power supply board may need to be looked into by a TV repair shop.
If you have some electronic experience and wish to try to fix it yourself, you can most times find a Service Manual for your TV over the internet for less than $20. It will have schematics, diagrams and parts list for your TV.

I have a KDF-55xs955 and all of a sudden it went out. The indicator light blinks 6 times.. I had a friend of mine in the business look up the code and it said something about the F board. The problem is...

Service manual says that 6 blinks error because there is no DD 6Volts output on G1 Board (power supply board)
Please pass on this info to service tech so he will look into power supply board.

The problem you have is with the G1 board. The 17 volts is not supplied. Do you have a multimeter and know how to trouble shott following a service manual schematic? if not call a pro to assist you as this could be the G1 board, but to be sure, you will need to troubleshoot and check some voltages and follow circuit flow using a schematic diagram.If you can then let me know..
