I am looking fore a bauer mf-588 air cooler & heater watermat motor.

turntables are turned by a rubber belt from a small motor

It was only $4.65 incl shipping from China (only took a bit over a week!). The only issue was the shaft doesn't have flats so you may need to modify it (I swapped the shaft from the old motor).

L 1 is power in .L 2 is also power in.line means this is were the power needs to be hooked to . cw / stands for clock wise rotation . ccw stands for counter clock wise rotation.

go to electric motor shop . take oem capacitor. replace with exact replacement. rule on capacitors is uf or mf rating must be exactly the same. voltage can be higher. for instance if you have a 370 cap you can replace it with a 440 cap but never the reverse. to pull a bad 120 cap and replace it with a 230 cap is ok. but to pull a 440 cap and replace it with a 230 cap is a no no.cap rating must remain the same . volt rating can be higher but not lower.if motor still turns in reverse look at the reversing leads. see wiring diagram on the side of the motor. most replacement motors can run cw or ccw. by switching the reversing leads you can effect direction. usually wired up orange to orange and purple to purple. switch org to pur and pur to org and motor runs opposite direction. be sure you have a new correct cap for the new motor. every new motor should have a new cap and they are different usually.one motor might be a 5 mf cap and the new motor might require a 15 cap! be sure power is off and you check it three ways. looks off, checks off with a meter, and is off when shorted with a screwdriver.good luck
