I have a simpson esprit 650, won't spin replace the controller motor and still won't spin, any suggestions

What do you mean by the controller motor? This model has a timer and that is often the cause of spin problems but not always. There are other reasons but you need fault finding skills and a test meter to find them. You haven;t told id you have either,

Simpson esprit 450 washing machine. Sometimes it will do the final spin and othertimes not spin at all. The machine is 11yrs old.

Probably a timer problem but you need fault finding knowledge and a test meter to find the fault. There are a few other reasons to not spin. You haven't said if you have a test meter or fault finding skills.

Simpson esprit 550 agitator & spin not working properly.

Open the lid during the wash cycle and observe the agitation, you need to see exactly whats happening, If its corkscrewing instead of agitating it will wind the clothes as you described. Agitation is usually back and forth, or up and down etc, not just turning constantly in the same direction.

Simpson Esprit 650 - Won't agitate

Our machine , same model, was doing the same. Had a repairman cone out & it was the Motor Control unit, seems to be a fairly common problem. But now its fixed & working well.

I have a simpson 650 esprit and there is no power. What would the problem be???

Anything from a faulty on off switch to an open circuit power lead. Did you check another item such as a bedside lamp in the power socket?

Simpson Esprit 650 6.5kg Washing machine, top load. Doesn't accept cold water when set to cold. When switch pulled to on at beginning of cycle the agitator activates sometimes and not others. Same with the...

I have just had the same problem occur with my washer.
I found that the hot would work but the cold would not.
The fault is the cold water valve.
This is the part that the hose screws to at the back of the machine.
To have a look at it unscrew the top of the controls at the back and you will
find the valve.
Follow this link for the part.
