You can set up the clock on a Panasonic OmniVision VCR without a remote controller by using the buttons on the front panel of the VCR. The process may vary depending on the specific model of your VCR, but in general, the steps are as follows:

  1. Press the "Menu" button on the front panel of the VCR.
  2. Use the "Channel Up" and "Channel Down" buttons to navigate to the "Clock" option and press the "Enter" button.
  3. Use the "Rewind" and "Fast Forward" buttons to set the hour and press "Enter"
  4. Use the "Rewind" and "Fast Forward" buttons to set the minutes and press "Enter"
  5. Press the "Menu" button again to exit the clock-setting menu.

Vcr clock setting

Probably you can't. That's a big pet peeve of mine with A/V equipment these days- so much of the control is by remote only and if it dies your machine is almost useless

Remote ineffective.

If you have a video camera with a night vision setting, wait until dark, turn out the lights and turn the camera onto night vision and look the the remote. When you press the buttons on the remote does the small led transmitter on the front ligh up. If so the remote is working but possibly sending the incorrect signals.

Setting the clock

Use an Aiwa Hifi Remote Control...Turn on the L300 (without any DVD on the player). Wait until in the TV appears "No Disc" Open the tray and put a DVD from other region (not zone 1), don't close the tray!!!. On the remote control of the Aiwa press the "Clock" button, in some remote control you must do a button combination like "Shift+9" (Is the combination to see the clock, do the combination fast), and in other model of Aiwa remote control doesn't appear the clock button, you must try with the "random" button. If you do it right, in the corner of TV where "No Disc" appears it will say "adjust complete".

Need remote code to control a Panasonic Omnivision VHS PV-M2079 TV/VCR combination

You need to program the VCR (which turns the sey on/off) as an aux, then program any Panasonic TV type for TV, and then set the STB button to control STB, TV and AUX and you should be set.
