Hampton Bay AC-374 Miramar Ceiling Fan - Upper Lights Not Working

I have 4 Hampton Bay AC-374 Miramar ceiling fans in my house. I switched the light bulbs in all of them to LED lights. I'm having an issue with the upper bulbs in just 1 of the 4 fans. Prior to the bulb swap, I was able to turn those upper lights on and off with the remote, as well as dimming the lights. After the bulb swap, the upper lights won't turn off. I can cycle from a low dim to bright, however, they just won't turn off anymore, unless I flip off the wall switch to kill power to the whole fan assembly. I've checked the Dip switches and they match. I'm not sure what other troubleshooting I can try. Does anyone have any ideas?

You may try different brand of led lights

Testimonial: "I may have to try that. It’s just odd that the other 3 fans have no issues, only the 1. I put in Feit bulbs from Ace Hardware. I couldn’t find any other brand in the size I needed for those upper bulbs (C7 bulb with E12 base)."

I know LED lights cause some problems with garage door openers, and some wall light dimmers

Understood. I'll see if I can find a different brand. I just find it odd that 3 out of the 4 fans had no issues with the new bulbs, but 1 does. Appreciate your help!

Bought a condo with 2 Hampton Bay ceiling fans with lights. Previous owner did not supply the remotes. Where can I get a remote without having to replace the base. The fans work with the light switch but...

Home depot makes hampton bay.
That's their brand name.
I know they sell remotes.
Just make sure the code switches on the remote (They're in the battery compartment....should be 4 of them) match the receiver switch positions ( located in the upper canopy of the fan).
The sales help are goodfor this kind of thing, as it happens all the time with lost remotes etc.

How to wire a remote control ceiling fan, without using remote.

If you don't want the to use the remote you don't have to, but you don't have enough wires to switch the upper light, the lower light, and the fan. You can, however, switch the upper and lower lights together if that's okay. In order to do that you'd connect the white from the ceiling box to the white (neutral) on the fan, then the green from the ceiling box to any green(ground) wires on the fan, then the black from the ceiling box to the black(motor) from the fan, then the red from the ceiling box to the blue and orange (lights) from the fan. I'm assuming that the black and red in the ceiling box are also in the switch box where the fan/light control switch is going. Those are the ones you'll connect to the controller.
