Canon k10405 orange stays on plus can't switch off with on off button

My printer the orange light stays on and also I can switch off the printer with on off button have to pull plug to disconnect the mains

Try powering it off from the wall for 30 minutes. Also try a Reset.

Press the Setup button until "11" appears on the LCD and press the Black button or the Color button. The network settings are initialized.

  1. With the printer plugged in and powered off, press and hold the Resume/Cancel button, then press and hold the Power button. (DO NOT release the buttons. The LED light should be green to indicate that a function is selectable.).
  2. While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (DO NOT release the Power button.).
  3. While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 2 times, and then release both the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in orange and green, starting with orange.).
  4. When the LED light is green, press the Resume/Cancel button 4 times. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in orange and green, starting with orange.).
  5. Press the Power button. The LED lights in green, and the reset is performed. (When the operation completes, the printer returns to the menu selection mode automatically.).
  6. Press the power button to exit service mode.
Note: if you accidentally press the Resume/Cancel button more than 4 times in step 4 then just press the Resume/Cancel button at least 10 times and the printer will be returned to step 4 automatically

  1. Turn off the Printers.
  2. Hold Resume button click POWER.
  3. Hold button RESUME, release POWER
  4. Then press the button again twice RESUME.
  5. Release all the buttons.
  6. Indicator led in green and stay green.
  7. Click the button 4 times RESUME, if you want to make another transaction.

For Canon i850, i950, S600
Start with the printer OFF
1. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
2. release RESUME
3. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
4. Let green light blink until printer is done futzing
Select function with RESUME press POWER to execute:
presses - light color - function
Number of presses - light color - function
0 presses - green - Test print (or exit service mode on i960)
1 press - orange - EEPROM info print (plus grid nozzle diagnostic on i960)
2 presses - green - EEPROM initialize
3 presses - orange - Reset waste ink counter

Canon i250 flashing orange / green light
turn the printer off by the socket. hold down the on button and keep held down whilst turning on the socket switch. Then press the button next to the on (i don't know what it is called) , so it goes onto orange then again to get to green. now it should stay on green and print. i hope this i useful

How to Reset Waste Ink Protection Counter Canon Pixma IP8500 Printer

Instructions:
Resetting Waste Ink Counter Canon Pixma IP6000, Canon MP450, Canon Pixma IP8500

1. Turn off the printer.
2. Whilst pressing Resume button also press on POWER.
3. Then Press RESUME button and release POWER.
4. Then Press RESUME button again .
5. Then release all buttons.
6. Led Indicator should be green and stay green.
7. Click RESUME button 4 times if you wish to try again.

Then See Table Below:

Orange - Service test print ONCE - Orange - Service test print.
Green - EEPROM information TWICE - Green - EEPROM information print.
Orange - EEPROM initialization 3 TIMES - Orange - EEPROM initialization.
Green - Waste ink counter resetting 4 TIMES - Green - Waste ink counter resetting
Orange - Destination setting (Press Power then Press Resume 3x) 5 times - Orange - Destination setting (Press Power Press Resume 3x)
Green - Print head deep cleaning 6 TIMES - Green - Print head deep cleaning.
Orange - Green, Orange - Return to menu selection 11-13 TIMES - Orange, Green, Orange - Return to menu selection.
Green - Left margin correction 14 TIMES - Green - Left margin correction.

8. Turn off printer.
9. Restart Printer.

Canon ImagePrograf 750 Error:Execute printhead cleaning. If this mesage is still displayed, replace the printhead. Printing stopped. I have a Canon ImagePrograf 750. Error: Replace Print Head. I purchased 2 NEW print heads. 1 to replace old one and another to keep as a stock item. Also purchased 2 Maintenance kits. Replaced Maintenance kit. Initiated Replace Printer Head. Now its reading "Low" and the error keep on display. Help Please. Already replaced 3 new cartridges and on 2nd NEW Print Head.

Canon MP258 steady light from alarm and power. Hi, I just want to ask about my issue with my canon mp258. Every time I plugged in the printer it turns on automatically and I'm getting a steady light in Alarm and power but I can't do anything from it. I tried to reset it already but nothing works and it won't turn off either. The LED screen won't display anything, No error codes just completely black.
