Your music should be in the My Music folder of you mem card (and not in individual folder). When I synced my music from winamp or media player it puts the music in folders by artist. If the music is like that it might not read. thats what happened to me. i had to copy the files directly to the my music folder. and your phone should be able to read wma. mine does. I've had this Krave since mid august. this is how i got the music to play.

Make sure your files are in Mp3 format. WMA, FLAC, etc will not work for your phone.

How to flash or unlock cell phone

Buy either an unlocked SIM card, or buy a Metro PCS SIM card from them. All phones use interchangeable SIM cards that "lock" the phone to a provider.

I bought 2 and after inserting them, my phone doesn't acknowledge they are in there. I went to Verizon and the rep put his in my phone and it immediatly showed a little icon that the memory card was in...

No cards don`t have to be activated. You phone is probably an older model and can only reconized memory card lower than 2 gb (check your phone manual) or if the phone is a new version, then probably the card slot within the phone is not working. I would sugest you go back to verison and have them check your phone card slot.

How do i use the sandisk memory card

Hi Marelda,

You will first need to convert the audio CD format to mp3 files before you can copy them to your sandisk memory card and then use it in your phone. This is also called ripping and the software for this should have come with your phone, maybe on a software CD.

Hope this helps.

Flashed from verizon to metro pcs cannot get pictures or applications or on web how do I configure phone to connect to metros web settings?

first, go to this website - http://bushe102.googlepages.com/Moto_flash.htm and download this file - MetroPCS - MPC_V3M_01.1A.00R MONSTER then go to this link and follow the tutorial EXACTLY! - http://www.hacktherazr.com/guides/verizon-razr-v3m-v3c/flashing/flashing-your-phone-general - and it will basically unlock all of the factory features of your V3m, it will use Motorolla's original gui and will be much faster and work better, plus you'll be able to use the internet and send & recieve pictures... make sure you backup all your contacts, photos, videos, anything you don't want to lose, and remove your micro SD memory card if you have one... if you don't do these things then reflashing will erase all of your data... ENJOY!!!

Phone not recognizing mp3 files on memory card

I had the same problem on a Verizon LG-NV or is it envy? Anyway, it was exactly as you said, here's what to do. The Mem. Card Needs To Be Formatted BY THE PHONE, then it will be set up in such a manner to read your MP3's. On your phone: GO TO Settings 6 3 6 and your done. Now you can take the MEM. card out of the Phone and put it in you computer.(to load mp3's) When you do, open up the card and you'll see a music folder, put MP3's there!! Then put MEM card back into phone and ENJOY!!!

Phone not reading music on LG enV from memory card....

i had the same problem with my original "the v" you may want to check the file type. If you have wma files, you should try converting them to mp3 or vice versa. research to see what file types your phone supports. I had to take mine into the verizon store to have them update the software on my phone to be able to play mp3 files.

SANDISK

In an effort to inflate their bottom line many providers (can u say Verizon) "fix" the phone so that only files downloaded to the phone from their pay-for-Music site will go into the proper folder so that phone sees them. The trick then is to outsmart them by latching onto a hack that will allow u to get them into that folder.
This is especially true for ring tones.

Pny micro sd memory card

Most PCs are like that. I don't know what it is but the computer won't do it for mine neither. To put music and such on you sd card for your phone you must format the card while it's in your phone. Goto setting, Memory, Card memory, then click on opions. From there it will say "Format Card". Do it and the lock code is the last four digits or your phone number. After that's done to load music and such you put the sd chip onto you computer and transfer music to the folder on the sd card called "My_music", pix to "My_pix", and so on....
