I bought a verizon phone had it flash so i can us it with metrol pcs it has a mp3 but when i put the the little memory card with musuc it tell me there is no songs what do i do next?

Buy either an unlocked SIM card, or buy a Metro PCS SIM card from them. All phones use interchangeable SIM cards that "lock" the phone to a provider.

look under the battery.take battery out.

No cards don`t have to be activated. You phone is probably an older model and can only reconized memory card lower than 2 gb (check your phone manual) or if the phone is a new version, then probably the card slot within the phone is not working. I would sugest you go back to verison and have them check your phone card slot.

You will first need to convert the audio CD format to mp3 files before you can copy them to your sandisk memory card and then use it in your phone. This is also called ripping and the software for this should have come with your phone, maybe on a software CD.

I had the same problem on a Verizon LG-NV or is it envy? Anyway, it was exactly as you said, here's what to do. The Mem. Card Needs To Be Formatted BY THE PHONE, then it will be set up in such a manner to read your MP3's. On your phone: GO TO Settings 6 3 6 and your done. Now you can take the MEM. card out of the Phone and put it in you computer.(to load mp3's) When you do, open up the card and you'll see a music folder, put MP3's there!! Then put MEM card back into phone and ENJOY!!!

i had the same problem with my original "the v" you may want to check the file type. If you have wma files, you should try converting them to mp3 or vice versa. research to see what file types your phone supports. I had to take mine into the verizon store to have them update the software on my phone to be able to play mp3 files.

In an effort to inflate their bottom line many providers (can u say Verizon) "fix" the phone so that only files downloaded to the phone from their pay-for-Music site will go into the proper folder so that phone sees them. The trick then is to outsmart them by latching onto a hack that will allow u to get them into that folder.
This is especially true for ring tones.

Most PCs are like that. I don't know what it is but the computer won't do it for mine neither. To put music and such on you sd card for your phone you must format the card while it's in your phone. Goto setting, Memory, Card memory, then click on opions. From there it will say "Format Card". Do it and the lock code is the last four digits or your phone number. After that's done to load music and such you put the sd chip onto you computer and transfer music to the folder on the sd card called "My_music", pix to "My_pix", and so on....
