Regarding a Vizio V755-H4.

I'm trying to replace the back light LED strips and have proceeded to take the rear cover off exposing the chassis with all of the PCB components. My problem is that I cannot figure out how to separate the chassis from the front screen. All of the fasteners have been removed but I don't want to force anything in fear of breaking it. If anyone can please advise I would appreciate it.

On a TV this size changing the strips is going to be quite difficult to do without damaging the panel, you positively need 4 suction cups (can be ordered from shopjimmy.com) and 2 people to remove and replace the screen, if you try to do it without them you will most likely damage the panel and the set will not work once you get new lamps in. Also you most likely will find 2 sided seal tape around the bottom of the panel (under the panel and on top of the panel holder), to keep screen cleaner from running down the screen and damaging the panel boards. To get the front frame off, they use clips that are part of the frame but there are a few things to remove before the front frame, start by removing the speakers and any metal pieces on the bottom back, there vary from model to model but generally include the metal leg holders, tcon board cover, if it has a tcon board, ect, you have to get at the panel boards before flipping the set on it's back, once you remove the front frame you won't able to flip the set over without the panel partially falling out and damaging it, it's much easier to remove these parts before laying the TV on its back, also remove the panel board ribbon cables when the TV is laying on it's face. Once you have the set on its back, take a screwdriver and and put it between the outside frame and metal inside frame and move it while pulling down on the frame, and you will feel it release, you will find a clip every few inches, just take it slow or you will break the tabs off then the frame won't stay on once it's replaced, good luck with this adventure, changing them for the 1st time can be fairly hard to do, also look at the bottom of the outside frame as some vizio model sets have small screws along with clips.

Vizio D65u-d2 Backlight not working after replacing 2 LED strips?

You should be able to replace just the bad LED strips however with as much work as it is to get the set apart and back together I always replace all them as other strips generally fail in time. Did they all light up after you replaced the bad ones before you put it back together? This model set has local dimming so servicing it is a bit more complex, you could have a bad backlight driver but that board seldom gives issues, also you could have main or power board issues as power for the backlight driver comes from the power board or you could have main issues as it's the signal from there that turns on each strip.

VIZIO FLAT SCREEN HAS SOUND NO PICTURE E22VLE

Hello Michael, for what you are saying, it is very possible that the rear lighting of the LCD panel is not working, usually two or three LEDs are burned, these come mounted in strips
To make a good repair, you have to change all the LEDs or replace all the LED strips
I give you the link of a video of another Vizio TV model, which shows you how to replace the LED strips
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

Vizio 420i-A0 Backlight issue. Screen was dark in the center. Checked the LED light strips. Only top and bottom strips were working.

It could be a defective LED strip you bought. You may swab the top & center strip to check it out.

Vizio tv power button will not stay lit fades and shuts down in about 10 seconds. No backlights no backlit screen. Vizio mod # e420i-ao. any ideas. trying to check voltages but don't know If I can.

In most of the case, the problem is defective LED back lights strips, the other problem could be a defective main board.

If you have a LED strip tester, check out the LED strip first, if you don't, try a new main board first, if the symptoms are the same, for sure, the problem is LED strip(s).
