It washes, I can hear it rinse (and see rinse light flashing) the rinsing stops/goes silent, rinse still flashing and counter still going. It doesn't finish beyond 1 minute left of spin cycle. Machine is 6 months old or less. Help!

There are a few potential causes for your Midea front loader washing machine not spinning. Some possible reasons include:

  • Overloading: If the machine is overfilled with clothes, it may not be able to spin properly. Try removing some of the clothes and running the spin cycle again.
  • Belt problem: The belt that connects the motor to the drum may be loose or damaged, preventing the drum from spinning.
  • Drainage issue: If the machine is not draining properly, the spin cycle may not be able to begin. Check to make sure the drain hose is not clogged and that the pump is functioning properly.
  • Control Board problem: The control board is responsible for controlling the machine's functions. If it is malfunctioning, it may prevent the machine from spinning.
  • Lid switch: The lid switch is responsible for detecting if the lid is open or closed. If the lid switch is faulty, the machine may not spin.
It's best to check the owner's manual for troubleshooting steps specific to your washing machine, or contact the manufacturer for further assistance. If the problem persists, it is advisable to get it checked by a professional technician.

My midea steam front load washer won't wash or spin

Hi Lynn.
you can try a Master Reset. This will reset all of the onboard componentry and is often successfully used by appliance technicians. Open and close the door of the washing machine 6 times within 12 seconds. Then, run the rinse/spin cycle without clothing to see if your problems are resolved.

or go to this link might help you out and scroll down the page.

When my machine gets to its rinse cycle it works for about 30 seconds and then all the lights start flashing and it stops working

Hi,

You most likely have a faulty cold inlet valve. When the machine gets into the rinse cycle, it needs to fill up with cold water.

Depending on whether you have a top loader or front loader, there may be a seperate valve for the rinse water intake on a front loader.

Let me know the make and model of your machine and I can help you identify and replace the inlet valve.

Ash

Hotpoint wf540 stopping on a rinse and spin and

check pump/filter/outlet hose for blockages. if ok, check pressure switch (disc shaped item at top of machine with 4? wires and a tube) by blowing into it gently - should hear clicks, then blow into tube to pressure chamber - should be clear.

Kenmore 80's series top loader only works on wash and rinse cycle

This is a problem with the pump being stuck so the motor cant turn the whole thing. Turn the washer on its side, underneath you can acces the pump, which is connected to the motor by two long clips. remove the pump and take out the colg that caused it to get stuck.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
