I have a thorn 55 inch Smart TV and can’t even watch Netflix Stan or Foxtel this TV is rubbish

On your Android box look for a port marked or labelled 'HDMI' that corresponds to 4 Ports similarly marked on your RCA 55 TV. Use the HDMI Cable supplied with your android box to connect the two appliances. Once connected - use the TV Remote go to 'Source' then flip through the HDMI Options.

Incase the Android box didn't come with an HDMI Cable purchase one from any Cheap TV Shop.

Incase your Android box does not have an HDMI labled port but a banana RCA Video output normally colored Yellow - then you need an RCA to HDMI Converter again from a TV Shop. the connection instructions are as above

It needs an internet connection.either wifi or Ethernet.then you will be able to choose from the menu within the set.If it's android you can look for googleplay.if it's toshiba or independent make it may run on a Linux o.s.which means you need to use it's built in browser to download or use URL of Internet addresses.
most nowadays are android based o.s. So it's googleplay for apps for which you need a gmail account which is free and easy to create.
