55 inch Vizio smart tv no video

I have a vizeo smart 55 inch flat screen tv that would not turn on, replaced all boards now it turns on but no video.i have sound and very clear still pictures.also there are vertical lines on the screen in color

Power Issues Troubleshooting
*NOTE* LG & Vizio TVs must be plugged in for 5 minutes before it will turn on*
1. Inspect ALL Ribbons and connectors. Any tears or bad connections between boards must be replaced FIRST
2. If you have any of these boards, it should be the first board to be replaced
A) T-Con Board - Video Problems (No Video with standby light on, audio but no video, grainy, distorted, or color problems in screen)
B) X or Y Buffer Board (Plasma TVs only) - Standby light is on but no power
C) Backlight Inverter / LED Driver - No Video with standby light on
3. Main Video Board
- Standby light is on but no power
- Either video or audio does not work (if no T-Con in TV. If audio but no video it is T-Con)
4. Power Board - No power AND standby light does NOT turn on. If standby light is on try other boards above
5. Panel - No power, distorted picture, lines, slow motion, half screen, faded in / out. Panel problems are usually not worth replacing the panel.

  • There is a loose soldering connection in the Main Board. That happens because the components on the are generating a lot of heat therefore melting solder connections.
  • Stop beating on the TV's back, that only makes the problem worse.
  • Take it to a shop.Or if you are a tech, try locating the loose connection(s) and solder it back.
  • Also check your Warranty Period, It may cost you 0$. Call Vizio if you still have Warranty on the TV.

Vizio tv not turning on
Are you getting any power (vizeo in ft of the set should be amber) If it is not you will need to replace the power board . If the set powers up with no picture then you will have to replace the main board.

Power to TV
That is a know problem with vizeo. You need to have the main board replaced. If you do not have a warrenty call vizeo with your model number and see if you can purchase a replacement board.

My Vizio D32f-F1 TV won't turn on. Any suggestions? The LED does not turn on or even blink. I opened it up and found no obvious visual problem or smell. I disconnected the two cables from the power board ADTVI1206XA7 and with AC coming to the board I found 12V at the 8-pin connector, but not 5V. Which board controls the volume of the M60-C3? I have a Vizio M60-C3 that occasionally has no sound. It does not matter if I use the internal TV speakers or the Sound Bar. When this happens, if I try to raise the volume, the the volume control scale displayed on the TV will start to rise but then go back down to zero. Almost as if I am competing against another remote lowering the volume while i am trying to raise the volume. After one or multiple reboots, the tv will work normally for a while.
